serve @ the rock

For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...

Mark 10:45

Serving is the heart and soul of the Solid Rock Community Church  family! We serve because Jesus served. It is our desire to serve you, your family, the community, and our generation. We would love for you to connect your heart to ours and become a part of the Serve Team!

Serving God is choosing to devote our lives to the Lord and make him our first priority. God desires for us to serve him “in sincerity and in truth” (Joshua 24:13-15).  When we serve God, we commit ourselves to his cause.

Serving our families is important for them to be healthy and thrive. In John 13:14-15, Jesus tells us to follow his example of serving and leadership. By serving our families, we make a commitment to be a godly leader in our households by encouraging our families to spend time in prayer and reading the Word, properly managing our finances, teaching the importance of tithing and giving, and being a consistent example of the love of God.

When we serve in the Church, we are actually fulfilling the Great Commission (Mark 16:15) and working to help spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There are many ways you can play a role in this mission at Solid Rock Community Church. Look below to find out what areas you can serve in.

Serve in our church

Use your unique gifts to help build the Kingdom.

Here at The Rock, we believe that there is a place for you. Bringing one's experiences and abilities into the local church, is like the aunt who brings mac and cheese at Thanksgiving.
Without you, the meal just doesn’t feel complete.

Solid Rock has serving opportunities for every personality, skill set, season, and schedule. No matter your age and stage of life, you bring something special to our church family.
