“Hope Hits Different” is an eight-week journey through real encounters with Jesus that show how His presence changes everything for people stuck in doubt, shame, bondage, dead ends, and despair. 

Each week, we walk with a different person or moment in the Gospels—from desperate parents and broken outcasts to Palm Sunday, the cross, and the empty tomb—so our church can see that hope is not a vague feeling 

but a living Person who steps into our real stories and brings forgiveness, freedom, and new life.

Week one, “Help My Unbelief” (Mark 9:14–29), opens the series with a desperate father whose faith is fragile and whose son is trapped in a long, painful battle. 

In the chaos of arguments, disappointment with “disciples,” and years of unanswered questions, Jesus steps in, invites honest confession—“I believe; help my unbelief”—and delivers the boy, 

teaching the disciples that some breakthroughs only come through prayerful dependence, not spiritual autopilot.
