We Gather On Sundays @ 10:00am
Home for the Holidays is a journey through the heart of the gospel, reminding us that true “home” is found not in a place, but in the presence of Jesus Christ.
Through the parables, prophecies, and Christmas narratives of Scripture, we see that God invites weary wanderers, overwhelmed families, and wounded hearts to return to Him and experience peace, hope, restoration, and joy.
From the Father who runs in Luke 15 to the angels who announce peace on earth, this series calls us to slow down, recenter our lives, rebuild our relationships, and rediscover the miracle of God dwelling with us.
Whether you feel close to God or far from Him, the message is the same: because of Jesus, the way home is open.
In Week Two of Home for the Holidays, we focus on the peace that only Christ can give — peace with God, peace with one another, and peace within our own hearts. Drawing from Ephesians 2, Colossians 3, and Philippians 4, we learn that peace is not a feeling but a Person: Jesus Christ, who “is our peace.” Because of His blood, we are brought near, reconciled to God, invited into one family, and given a supernatural peace that “guards our hearts and minds.” As we enter the holiday season, we are called not just to keep peace temporarily but to make peace sacrificially — offering forgiveness, patience, reconciliation, and gospel-shaped love at every table we sit around. The Prince of Peace makes us people of peace.
